A big congratulations goes out to the Food Security Network, Oxfam Canada, NL Young Farmers Forum, the St. John's Farmers' Market and FEASt for organizing another very successful World Food Day event in St. John's. Tickets sold out and attendees left with full bellies and new food for thought about farming in the province. Monies raised will be donated to the St. John's Farmers' Market so that they can continue to create a space for local farmers to provide high quality, healthy, local food to people. Thank you so much to everyone involved that donated food, volunteered their time, promoted the event and attended!
