Ravenwood is an award winning, family-run naturally raised livestock farm and local butcher shop, 100-mile market, homestyle cafe, bakery and caterer located in Caroline, AB. Tamara will speak about starting up a farm direct business, focusing on her experience of running a successful farm fresh store with a butcher shop, bakery, deli and smokehouse.

About the Presenter: Tamara has a B.S.A. degree in Animal Science from the University of Saskatchewan and her passion is first and foremost the farm. The store was born as a means to make the farm sustainable. Tamara manages the small ruminants, dairy cattle, rabbits, chickens and horses on the farm. Tamara is enthusiastic about agriculture as a viable and sustainable career choice and is very active in the industry.
