Think about food and eat better this November.
Food can be complicated, but eating doesn’t have to be.
Throughout the month we’ll send you a weekly list of ideas from reputable sources, topics for discussion, ideas for cooking at home, and general food for thought. We don’t have all of the answers, but we can help you reach your own conclusions.
The Food Security Network of Newfoundland & Labrador believes that time spent learning and thinking about food will help inform better choices, and help people feel good about what they eat.
Food in Newfoundland and Labrador is complicated. Much of our food is shipped from outside the province. We struggle with some of the highest rates of diabetes and obesity in the country. We have a high rate of food bank usage.
Sign up for the Good Food Challenge to think about food and eat better this November. Your food choices can help overcome some the obstacles we face.
Let’s make good food happen in Newfoundland and Labrador.
