GOT FRUIT or WANT FRUIT?
St. John's Fruit Tree Project is looking for fruit trees to pick in St. John's and surrounding areas! They will give one third of the picked fruit to the homeowner, one third to a local food bank/community kitchen, and one third will go to their volunteer fruit pickers.

Homeowners: Please let them know when your tree is ready to be picked and they'll arrange a time that suits you and volunteers. Also, let them know if you have a ladder that could be borrowed (otherwise, they'll arrange for their own). Homeowner addresses will only be given to the volunteers that are helping to pick the fruit at your house.
Volunteers: Please let St. John's Fruit Tree Project know what days and times you are generally available. This will help with scheduling with the homeowners. Also, do you have a vehicle that could be borrowed if needed? When a tree is offered up, we'll send an email to see who is available to pick on the designated day. The first four volunteers to RSVP will get to pick the first tree. We'll give all interested volunteers a turn during the season as long as enough trees are offered.
